The Chicken McNugget is made from chickens that are too old to lay eggs. These chickens are stripped down to the bone, and then "ground up" into a chicken mash then combined with a variety of stabilizers, binders, chemicals, and preservatives, pressed into familiar shapes, breaded and deep fried, frozen and shipped to your local fast food establishment.
Incidentally, ingesting only one gram of TBHQ used in the frying oil can cause "nausea, vomiting, ringing in the ears, delirium, a sense of suffocation, and collapse," according to "
A Consumer's Dictionary of Food Additives.
